Campbell's resignafsr«n of the pastorate of City Temple was accepted, and he was warmly thanked for his work. He will probably join the Anglican Church after his work in France, and will become associated with the Bishop of Birmingham, devoting his leisure to literary work. His well-known book, the New Theology, was withdrawn from circulation two months ago.
