KARANGAHAKE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Karangahake Bowling Club was held on Friday evening The bulance-sheet showed a credit balance of £12. The election of officers resulted Patron, Mr. H. Stansfield: president. Mr. E. J. Kitching, re-elected; vice-presidents Messrs. A. Hill. J. Rickard. F. Wells, J. Kemp; committee, Messrs: McLean, Williams. Moran, Marsh, Tucker, Gallaher, Christie, Dickey; selector. Mr. E. Jury; secretary, Mr. P. Johnstone: assistant secretary, Mr. D. Aitken; treasurer, Mr. W. J. Searle: auditor, Mr. A. G. Furnell ; green superintendent. Mr. E. Jury: delegates to South Auckland Association. Messrs. Kitching and Hilton; delegate to South Auckland centre. Mr. Kitching; Goldfields Stars delegate, Mr. Aitken. The green superintendent announced that in 'all probability the green would be open for a " roll up " on Saturday. The club has effected many improvements to its proper' a new green of four rinks having been made. The club is very fortunate in possessing, free of encumbrance, freehold property, consisting of two bowling greens, croquet and tennis lawns.
