VICTORIA COLLEGE ENDOWMENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington-, Wedneedav. The Victoria College Council to-night" received intimation that the Macarthy trust, had decided that the Public Trustee should allocate a cum of £1000 a y«ar out of income till £10.000 had accumulated as a fund for the endowment of Victoria College for the establishment of a school of economics, to be called the Macarthy School of Economics. The decision -was to be subject to rescission, review, or modification at any time. The offer was accepted.
