TURKISH CLAIMS.
THE GALLIPOLI CAMPAIGN. (Received September 16, 2 a.m.) Sofia, September 15. A Turkish communique states :— Our artillery successfully shelled an enemy regiment near Anafarta, and camps near Seetaki. We dispersed the enemy manoeuvring near Sedd-ul-Bahr, and repelled a cruiser and torpedo boats, which were approaching the coast.
Our reconnoitring columns surprised enemy trenches at several points.
