AUSTRIAN COMMUNIQUE.
ATTACKS REPULSED. (Received September 16, 3 a.m.) Amsterdam, September 15. An Austrian communique states : "We repulsed an attack on the Strypa front. The Russians at Yolhynia, strengthened by reinforcements, attacked at numerous points, but were repulsed with great losses near the Dubno-Stubiel sector. Our troops in Lithuania pursued the enemy across Grinda Plain, southward of Slonin. Our artillery expelled the Italians over the front for several kilometres in the Tolmein district, inflicting severe losses."
