The Xew York correspondent of the London Daily Chronicle Bars"There is growing distrust of everything Teutonic, due to the discovery that a fire-bomb, believed to be German.'was put on board the French steamer Sant Anana. which was on fire in mid-Atlantic with Italian reservists. A German conspiracy has been discovered in the Philippines. Germans were using the protection of the American Hag to undermine British rule in the East Indies."
