LOSS OF SUBMARINES.
GERMANY'S MISTAKE.
Paris, September 12.
In an article in the Petit Parisien M. Lanessau, ex-Minister for Marine, states that the hour is approaching when the • fleets of the Quadruple Entente will be able to intervene in the war usefully. The Germans then may regret the using up of their submarines in a criminal and sterile task, for torpedoes are specijally useful against battleships engaged in furious combat.
