HOSPITAL TRAIN BOMBARDED BY GERMANS. \ OFFENDING AEROPLANE BROUGHT DOWN. ■I . Peteogbad, September 12. An official communique states: A Zeppelin flew over and threw bombs upon the Baltic ports. Our seaplanes dropped bombs on German ships at Wiindau. " A German aeroplane, which -was bombarding a hospital train near Ponemounek, was brought down."
GERMANS DROP BOMBS ON FRENCH TOWN.
EFFECTIVE REPLY BY ATTACK ON GERMAN HANGARS. Wellington, September 13. The following cablegram has been received from the High Commissioner :— " A French communique states : ' Enemy airmen yesterday dropped bombs on Compiegne, French airmen retorting effectively with large bombs on the German hangars at Brayelle.' "
