WAR LECTURE.

An interesting lecture upon the war was delivered by the Rev. W. G. Monckton at the Workingmen's Club and Mechanics' Institute last evening. Many members and their friends, were present, and listened with undivided interest to a most absorbing lecture. Mr. Monckton dealt most ably with the present situation. The president of the club, Mr. C. Gray, presided, and at the conclusion of the lecture thanked Mr. Monckton on behalf of the club members.
