A sale of work was opened by. Mrs. J. W. Court in St. John's Methodist School- -- room, Ponsonby Road, yesterday afternoon. The stalls contained supplies of .• plain and fancy work, sweets, and flowers..„ Vocal and instrumental items were contributed by Miss Butler and Miss Carr respectively in the afternoon.
