Yesterday's meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board was attended by Messrs. H. D- Heather, chairman, G. R. Hutchinson. T. J. Xerhevy, E. J. Carr, W. E. J^eviand. K. W. Alison, W. Wallace, M. H. Wynyard, H. R. Mackenzie. W. E. Hutchison, T. B. Arthur, and F. Quin. The engineer reported, in reference to the Auckland Dock, that after considerable difficulty, owing to water coming v "through the earth dam and through the original stone breastwork, the dock floor was dried, and practically the whole of the Milestone had now been removed. Tne engine-house was being dismantled. The suction dredge would commence pumpin'" into the site this week.
