BOXING.
HARDWICK V. POOLEY. AUSTRALIAN ARRIVES TO-MORROW Harold Hardwick, who is matched to box A. x ooley at Auckland on September 14 for the Australasian championship, will arrive hore by the steamer Kiverina to-morrow. Hardwick will train at Victor Cliffe's rooms, Fame! I, and the Northern Boxing Association intends to arrange sparring exhibitions at stated times in order to give patrons an opportunity to see the Australian at work. Pooley, who is now leading an outdoor life, and has been playing football all the winter, is at present in excellent condition.
