TWO PERSONS COMMITTED FOR
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION/} Timaru, Thursday. Two persons, Edward Owen McMurtie, a telegraphist, and Mrs. Alison Moore, were committed for trial at Wairnate to-day for conspiring to defraud R. Cos and W. Whelan. bookmakers, of Christchurcb, by making bets on the Timaru trcts by means of manipulated telegrams.
