"CINDERELLA" PANTOMIME.

To-night at seven-fifty o'clock, J. C. Williamson's company of ISO singers, dancers, comedians, and specialty artists will piesent the gorgeously-mounted pantomime extravaganza "Cinderella," which has just terminated a successful season in Wellington. Seats for this evening's performance may be selected at Wildman and Arey's. and tickets for the early door stalls and gallery can be purchased at deal's, or at the theatre doors to-night. A full scenic and lighting rehearsal took place yesterday, so that everything is in complete preparedness for ITie initial Auckland representation. Five beautifully staged ballets and marches, eighteen picturesque changes of scene, the latest popular songs in elaborate settings, an abundance of wholesome comedy, and in the middle of all this, delightful illustrations of the actual fairy story, are the elements which have made "Cinderella' one of the most successful pantomimes yet staged under the J. (J. Williamson, Ltd. banner. Mr. Barrv Lupino is the principal comedian, and the others who assist him are all wellknown artists. A feature of the pantomime is the musical items, many of which are beautifully illustrated. Much interest is being taken by playgoers in the presentation of the Harlequinade on Saturday aftenicou. OPERA HOUSE. The Opera House was well patronised last evening, and the bitight find merry entertainment which is contained in the current programme was frequently applauded. Miss Harris's items again found much favour with the audience, and she was called upon for repeated encores. The audience last night was appreciative. "THE DANDIES." Another largo audience in the concert chamber of the Town Hall last evening was well pleased by the entertainment given by the Red Dandies Company. Last night ''The Dandies" commenced the seventh week of their present season, and the fact that this comparatively small combination of artists can still command crowded houses speaks well for their ability and talent. The company closes its Auckland season on Saturday evening, and the programme now being presented is no less enjoyable than any of it« decessorsORGAN RECITAL TODAY. The second of the series of free afternoon organ recitals will be given in the Town Hall at 3.30 p.m. to-day, when the city organist will play a selection from the works of Elgir, Lemare, and Mascagni. j . I PICTURE ENTERTAINMENTS. Charles Chaplun will appear in "A! Kight Out" at the Princess Theatre for! the last time to-day. Chief on a wellselected programme at this theatre is the " Trey o' Hearts 13th instalment. The King's Theatre was well attended last evening, and the star drama, "Children of the Circus," was loudly applauded. Great interest v.-as also taken in the Gazette.

The chief items of a programme which attracted large audiences to the Grand Theatre yesterday are " Law of the .Wilds," and "Mystery of the Tea DanBant.''

All sessions at the K'ing George Theatre |were liberally patronised yesterday, and the programme was well received. Manyunusual episodes are contained in "The Key to Yesterday," which heads the bill. " A Night Out " continues to be a great attraction at the Queen's Theatre, and its screening was enjoyed by large audiences yesterday. " The Flower of Faith " heads & good supporting programme. A sensational Indian story, "The Green Idol,'' and a It'ghly-diverting comedy, "Wilful Ambrose," are the outstanding features of an enjoyable programme at the Globe Theatre.

The interesting story of life in the slums and in society of London, as told in "Lil o' London," was followed by large audiences at both the Lyric and West End Theatres yesterday.
