HAIR BEGAN TO FALL OUT Box 4, G.P.0., Brisbane, Queensland.— " About two years ago I began to get an awful pain and itchy feeling in my head, and my hair began to fall out. My head became one mass of irritation, and I was kept awake at night with the terriblo pain. I had that many sleepless nights that I was just on the eve of a breakdown, when the wonderful Cuticura Soap and Cuticura Ointment came to tho rescue I was frightened to comb or .brush my hair, it was falling out that fait. During that awful time I could only see my nearest friends, because I had to keep on scratching my head so much, "I tried many different remedies, but all had the same resultno good. I was beginning to lose heart, but one day 1 decided to give Cuticura a trial and wrote for Cuticura Soap and Cuticura Ointment, which gave me jnstanf'relief from that awful, itching, burning feeling about the head, and after a week's treatment I was cured. lam proud of my hair, it is that soft and glossy. I also find that the Cuticura Soap not only makes the hair grow, but makes the skin beautifully soft, also free from blemish." (Signed) Mrs. M. Kelly. T, Sydney, N.S.W. At last night's meeting of the Auckland Horticultural Society the chairman, Mr. W. Handley, referred to the loss sustained by on© of the society's committeemen, Mr. F. H. Brown, by the death of his son, Private J. Mot. Brown, at (lie Dardanelles. Ho moved that a letter be sent to Mr. Brown sympathising with him in his bereavement. His loss would be compensated by the fart that his son died in a noble cause.. TheVieople did not like to lose their boys, said Mr. Handley, but it spoke volumes for the men remaining that they were still enlisting eagerly. It was to bo hoped that future losses would be slight.
