NOTIFICATION TO RECRUITS.
The following notification to recruits who have been passed as fit for the reinforcement drafts of the New Zealand Exeditionary Force lias been issued by the local Defence Office:—" The members of the staff are not in a position to give the date, or even an approximate date of the departure for Trentham of the various drafts. Men who have been accepted for the reinforcements will receive ample notice by postcard of when they are required. Only those who have been accepted and have received their postI cards will bo sent down to Trentham. The fact of a man's name appearing in the newspapers is not sufficient to ensure his departure unless he has his card. Persons are warned against giving up their employment until they have received a card from the group office stating that they are required on a certain date."
