ONEHUNGA ADULT SCHOOL.
The annual meeting of the „ Onehuuga Adult School was held on Saturday evening In the Friendly Societies' .Hall. Mr. J. taking, president, occupied the chair. The report showed that interest in the school had been maintained, but that, the membership had not increased. ' I The secretary, Mr. Norman Sinfield, intimated his early departure for Australia, after which he will proceed to th« front. Thi president expressed .appreciation of Mr. Sinfield's services. The election of officers resulted as follows President, . Hi'. • Fletcher Jackson; vicepresidents, Messrs. H. Mills arid T. R. Gillman, jnn.; secretary, Mr. J. Laking; treasurer, Mr. A. S. Holme?; registrar, Mr. Yates organists, Mrs. Parker and j Miss Gillman j committee, the officials, aj.d [ Mesdames Leach, Parker, and Miss Ruth Parker; representatives to council, the I president, secretary, and Mr. 11. Mills.
