Advice has been received by Mr. J. H. Adams, of Sylvan Avenue, Mount Eden, that his eldest son, F. H. Adams, 9th Battalion Australian Infantry, has been wounded in action. The wounded man was in Australia when the war broke out, and immediately joined the Australian Imperial forces.
