BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.

The remarket was a little brighter yesterday. In standard stocks New Zealand Insurances changed hands at £6 Is. More were wanted at that figure. but late sellers asked £6 2s. Auckland Tramways (preferential) were disposed of at 20s.

In mining lines business was done in Waihis at from 39s to 38s 9d to 38s 6d. leaving further sellers at 38.- 9d and havers at 3fli 6d. Wailii Grand Junctions sold at 26s and 25s 9d, late sellers quoting 2bs and buyers 25s 9d. Talismans were quoted at 255. and more were mi offer at 24s 6d. late buveis (inciting 245.
