The Tnvcrtay, which was delayed in discharging operations on Monday by heavy rain, sailed yesterday afternoon for Wellington, Sydney and Melbourne. She will discharp the balance of her New York cargo at the ports named.

The ketch Keren! sailed shortly after 1 p.m. yesterday for Nine (Cook Islands), with mails, passengers, and cargo. She is expected to return to Auckland about June 20.

The barque Daniel, which left port last Thursday morning for Hokianga to load timber for Sydney, and which anchored in Rangitoto Channel to wait for a favourable wind, resumed her voyage yesterday morning.

The Now Zealand Shipping Company ndvises that the Rnnpatira is duo at Auckland about May '21 from St. John, via Australian ports. She has about 1200 tons of Canadian merchandise to disohargo at this port.

The coastal steamer Tasman was still sheltering at Whale Island yesterday. She is expected to return to Auckland tomorrow evening.

Tho Ngatiawa was unable to leave Opotiki yesterday morning, but would probably get away at high water in the evening. She will probably arrive here to-night or early to-morrow morning.

The Taviuni, which was delayed at Auckland on Monday owing to a shortage of firemen, sailed yesterday morning for Westport, the necessary men having been obtained.

The scow Moa is loading a quantity of machinery at the King's Wharf (or Tauranga.

Capt. T. Richards, who piloted tho threemasted scow Korora from Auckland to Sydney a few weeks ago, returned by ihe Riverina yesterday morning. >

The Karamea, bound from New Zealand ports to London, continued her voyage from Monte Video on May 4. The barquentino lima, which ' cam© to Auckland several weeks ago with a cargo of hardwood from Tasmania, is renorted to have been sold for use as a coal hulk. The vessol has been tinder survey for some time, and as the repairs necessary would run into heavy expense, it is reported that tho owners decided to dispose of the vessel. She- will be placed in Calliope Dock to-day for inspection and cleaning. The auxiliary schooner Huia arrived at Groymouth on Saturday last f«m Westpi.rt. She is to sail about the end of the week for Wisborne, where she will dischar?e> a cargo of timber before returning to Auckland The Union Company's steamer Wakntipu left Sydney last Friday for New Zealand, the vessel has been absent for over 12 years, during which period sho has been j" lnnl ng between Australia and Tasmania, the Wakatipu was launched in 1880. and T* B at one time encaged in the Dunediniiyuolton- Wellington-Sydney service. The White Star liner Zealandie is now timed to leave Wellington to-morrow for Gisborno and Auckland to complete Homeward loading. She is expected to arrive here about May 19.

Captain J. F. Crawford, at one time master of the Union Company's steamer Atnn, and who has been attached to the Lyttolton Harbour Board's pilot staff for several years, is at present visiting Auckland. The Mamari is expected to arrive at Wellington about Mav 14 from London, via Capetown and Hobart. The Athenic left London on May 8 for Auckland, via Capetown. The vessel, which will omit the customary call at Hobart, is expected, to arrive hero about June 22. She is bringing several thousand tons of general cargo for Auckland, and also explosivos. The barque Louisa Craig is now 24 days put on the passage from Kaipara to Adelaide, with a cargo of timber.

THE RIVERINA. The Huddart-Parker liner Riverina, which arrived in the stream at 2 30 a.m. yesterday from Sydney, was herded at the Queen's Wharf at 630 a.m. The vessel made a somewhat lengthy passage, which was due to adverse weather encountered all the wav across the Tasman _ Sea. She brought 80 first, second, end third-class passengers, and 1080 tons of general cargo, the latter including transhipments from the steam*™ Burrumbeet. Katoomba, Wyandra, Warilda, Era, and Canberra, from Commonwealth ports: Mooltan and Ma'oja, from London, via Colombo; Itaura, from Enutern ports; Star of India, from New York; Sonoma, from San Francisco; Natal, from Conenhagen, Gothenbure and Genoa. The Riverina sailed again for Sydney direct late last night. |

CAPE FIXISTERRE DUE. The Vacuum Oil Company's ehartored steamer Cape Finisterre is expected to arrive at Auckland at any time now from New York,, via the Panama Canal. ■ She left the American port on April 1, and is about 41 days out to-day. The vessel is bringing about 170,000 cases of oils, 40.009 cases of which will be discharged at Auckland, and the balance at Nanier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin.

WAIHORA EXPECTED TO-MORROW. The Union Company's cargo steamer Waihora is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow from Calcutta, via Singapore and Samarang. She will discharge about 2000 tons of Eastern merchandise at this port, after which she will visit Wellington,, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to put out the remainder.
