PROVISION' FOR CUSTOMHOUSE.
(From (he 'HERALD of May 12. 1865.) We understand that Urn building for t ie post office and customhouse is to lie commenced immediately on the sit*of the mcsent customhouse and old market in Shortland Street. It is intended, as the allotment has a frontage to both streets, that that portion front i F'irt Street si mil bo applied to the purposes of a customhouse, and that l.ieing Short land Street to these of the post otlire.
