FOREIGNER'S (SERIOUS CRIME.

C'hristchurch, Monday. At the Supreme Court to-day, Emanuel Kirdy, a foreigner, came up for sentence on a charge of incest. He was sentenced bv Mr. Justice Denniston to ten years' imprisonment.

CuaisTCiicndH. Monday. At the Supreme Court to-day Edward Robert Wilson, aged 17, was admitted to probation for a year on two charges of theft from the Springfield Post Office, where he was engaged on relieving work.
