In his charge to the grand jury His Honor said that altogether there were thirteen prisoners. None of the charges were serious except three cases of alleged interference with young children. It was extraordinary, he said, that such charges continually came before the Court.
May Wills was convicted of a theft of £25 from a Chinaman; sentence was deferred. John Johnston, who was found guilty of assaulting a soldier so as to cause bodily harm, was also remanded for sentence.

PAINFUL ECZEMA ON CHILD'S CHEEK.
P0 , Rosewood, via Wagga N.S.W."Mv little sister, when about five months old got a small red spot on her left cheek, and a* a lew days went by tins red spot gradually grew larger and spread all round her mouth It was very itchy and at time« especially when my sister went near the fire, it was painful. The itchiness caused her to scratch it and we did all we could to stop her, but sometimes she got at it and so caused sores and the skin round them to become inflamed. y We were quite convinced that it was eczema. We were advised to try different remedies but one and all had the same effect— that, was doing no good whatever. After about a fortnight or more I saw an advertisement for the Cuticura Remedies and at once procured some Cuticura Soap and Cuticura Ointment, To our great relief the itching seemed to lessen, and after a few applications of the Cuticura Soap and Cuticura Ointment the red patch which had grown very largo began to disappear, and within two days, after having used one tin if Cuticura Ointment and a cake of Cuticura Soap, the red patch had disappeared, and then are no signs whatever left."—(Signed) Miss Hilda M. Harvey, April 23, 1914. Although Cuticura Soap and Ointment are sold throughout the world, a sample of each, with 32-page Skin Book, will.be mailed free on application to It, Towns and Co., Dej)t.
