HOCKEY.
PRIMARY SCHOOL TEAMS.
A meeting of masters connected with I primary school hotkey teams was held on Saturday morning Mr. L. H. Norton, chairman, of the Auokland Hockoy Association', presiding. There were present: Messrs. Wilson, Stanley Bay; Crawahaw, Remuera; C. E. Scott, Takaptina; A M. Rowe, Edendale; Andrew. Devon port: Roberts, Mount Eden; L. Mark, Beresford Street; and Jones, Mount Albert. The following recommendations to the Auckland Hockey Association wore agreed upon:—That the age limit of under 15 or. May 31 stand, and in addition a weight limit of Sat bo imposed, players to bo weighed a week before the competitions commence; that the championship competitions be commenced on May 22, matches to be started at 10 am.; that the competitions bo played in two grades, A and B, as last year; that application be made to the City Council to ascertain if ground accommoda- | tion is available at tho Domain and Victoria Park on Saturday mornings. It is stated that about six teams will be entered "in each grade.
