The Ngatiawa was unable to enter Opotiki yesterday, and her cargo is being lightered outside the bar. She is exported to leave to-day for Auckland, and should arrrvo here to-morrow.

A wireless message received from the captain of-the steamer Taviuni stales that the' vessel will arrive at Auckland to-morrow afternoon from tho Cook and Society Islands. The Remuera left Plymouth on May 5 for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Djincdin, via Capetown and Hobart.

The Rivorina left Sydney at 12.30 p.m. on ihursday for Auckland direct. Sho is bringing «4 passengers in all classes, and 1100 tons of cargo for New Zealand. The Rivorina is duo here on Monday morning, and is timed to sail on the return voyaso at noon on Tuesday.

The Blackball Coal Company's steamer Ngahdre is to load a cargo of produce at Bluff about May 12 for Auckland.

The steamer Invcrtay, which arrived in the stream early yesterday morning from Now York, via the Panama Canal, was berthed at the Queen's Wharf to discharge 600 tons of general cargo. She sails on Monday for Wellington and Australian ports to put out the remainder of her cargo.

The Tauranga Harbour Board has docked to erect two lights— beacon on Stony Point, and a _ dolphin light at the Narrows. The board is asking the assistance of Captain T. Advice has been received that the British Imperial Oil Company's steamer Physa left Singapore on Wednesday, May 5, with a full cargo of benzine and kerosene for New Zealand ports.
