EXPLOSION ON STEAMER.

The Norwegian steamer Muntor recently returned to Swansea with a shattered deck and tale to tell of an exciting experience. Slip left Swansea with coal, but near Lundy Island the hatches blew up with a deafening roar, and the first thought of all on board was that they had been torpodoed. Three of the firemen wero injured, and on tho return to Swansea were tajien to the general hospital- Captain Hansen, in command, said ho had no idea how tho explosion took place, unless it was due to an accumulation of gas. Tho hatches we're blown to pieces, and at first it was feared that tho vessel had been torpedoed or had struck a, mine, but theso fears proved to be groundless*
