PAKURANGA HUNT.
OPENING OF THE SEASON,
The hunting season will he formally opened by the Pakuranga Hunt next Saturday with a meet at the Howick Hotel. Members of the hunt and the farmers of the neighbouring districts have been invited by the master, Mr. H. Bullock Webster, to luncheon at ,noon, and opportunity will be taken by officials of the hunt to 'express appreciation of the assistance given to hunting by the farmers of the district. After this gathering the members will hunt over the adjoining country.
