THE GERMAN FLEET.
AT LARGE IN NORTH SEA. BOAST FROM BERLIN. Berlin, April 23. The German Admiralty states that the High Sea Fleet has repeatedly been cruising in the North Sea. It asserts that the fleet has advanced to English waters without meeting British warships.
NAVAL STRUGGLE COMING.
AMERICAN SPECULATION. New York, April 23. The American newspapers are publishing reports emphasising British submarine activity on the German coast, and the suspension of British-Dutch shipping. They declare that a titanic naval struggle is imminent.
FLEET OFF HELIGOLAND.
DANISH SHIP STOPPED. (Received April 26, 1.30 am.) COPENHAGEN, April 25. A steamer which has arrived at Christiania reports that it saw last Sunday a large number of German warships west of Heligoland. Tho steamer was stopped but was eventually allowed to proceed.
