BUS CONDUCTOR LOSES A LEG
RESULT OF A SLIP. [BT TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Sunday. A young man named Leaning, whose parents reside at Cambridge, and who was employed as a conductor on a motorbus, slipped as ho was about to get on the bus last night. The vehicle passed over one of his legs, which was badly crushed. He was taken to the Waikato Hospital, where the limb was amputated. He is otherwise doing satisfactorily.
