OLD THAMES BOYS.
SUCCESSFUL ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Old Thames Boys' Association was held in the City Club Hotel last evening. Mr. W. Bloinfield presided, and there was a good attendance of members. The annual report congratulated the members on the success of last year's operations, both socially and financially. The reunions had been most delightful gatherings, and had been well attended. The membership was satisfactory, although reduced by members leaving for the front. The finances were in a sound position, there being a balance in the bank of £179 17s lOd. A reserve fund was being built up with the intention of assisting at the Thames jubilee celebrations in 1917. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following officers were elected:— Patrons, Mr. A. M. Myers, M.P., and Mr. C. J. Parr, C.M.G.; president, Mr. W. Blomfield; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Eddowcs, A. E. Greenslade, W. Otter, R. McDuff, F. Mason, R. Gibbons, B. M. Myers, J. Farrell, W. Bettis, W. Burch, J. Duggan. and T. Aitken •'secretary, Mr, P. Laycock; treasurer, Mr. T. Aitken'; auditor," Mr. A. E. Greenslade; trustees, Messrs. W. Blomfield and J. Farrell; committee, Messrs. D. Wilson, J. H. Reed, S. Skeen, G. B. Walker, F. Blomfield, N. J. Edward, H. Skeen, A. Williams, H. Davies, W. Simmonds, and J. Twohill. , A bonus of £5 was voted to the secretary, Mr. Laycock, in recognition of his services. ' . . , . It was decided to suggest to the incom-: ing committee that badges be procured for members at a cost of not more than 3s each.
