The Hon. W. H. Berries, Minister for Railways, accompanied by his private secretaries, Mr L. E. Johnson and Mr. H. R. H. Balneavis, left Auckland for Wellington last night. The Hon. A. L. Herdman, Attorney. General and Minister .for Justice, left Auckland by the midday express yester. day for the Waikeria priion farm. Aftei inspecting that establishment he will pro. ceed to Wellington The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. W. F. Massey. will visit Cheviot, Southern Marlborough, to-morrow, to attend the local agricultural show. In the evening he will deliver an address, in which he will give some idea of what the Government has done for the defence and the general welfare of the Dominion since the outbreak of the war.
