TOTAL TO DATE, £128,411For the four-weekly period ended March 27 tho Waihi-Paeroa Gold Extraction Company, Ltd., treated 9000 tons of tailings for a return of £2850. The company has now treated 408,000 tons of tailings for a total return of £128.411, made up as under: — In 1912, 94,100 tons £33,811 In 1913. 140,100 tons „. 42,300 In 1911, 141,300 tons ... 42,950 Period ending— February 27, 1915. 20,500 tons ... 6,500 March 27, 1915, 9000 tons 2,850 Total, 408,000 tons for £128,411 Dividends paid to date, £12,500. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION. The gold yield of New South Wales for Februaiy was 72710z fine, valued at £30,886. as compared with 10.8650z, valued at £40,141, for the corresponding month last year. For the first two months of this year the yield was 24,323 fine ounces, valued at £103,317, as compared with 26,632 fine ounces, valued at £1113.124, lor the corresponding period in 1914. The Victorian gold yield for February was 31.0490z gross, or 28,7780z fine, valued at £122,284. This shows a. decrease of 13,0600z fine as compared with the yield for February of last year. The return for the first two months of 1915 was 48,6680z gross, or 45.2550z fine, valued at £192,230. Compared with tho quantity woo during the corresponding period of last year a decrease of 19,7330z lino has occurred. The gold output of Western Australia for February amounted to 104,268.28 fine ounces, valued at £442,903, as compared with 103.305.1 fine ounces, valued at £438,812 for February, 1914. the increaso being 9630z, valued at £4091. Queensland's it-Id of gold for February was 20.198 line ounces, of a value of £85 796, as against 20.111 fine ounces, valued at £85,426, for the corresponding month in 1914. For the first two months of this year the yield was 30,5260z, of it value of £129.666, as compared with 35.0250z. valued at £148.776 in 1914. February's dividends amounted to £52.000, making the total for two months £58,250.
