THE GOVERNOR.

His Excellency the Governor and the Countess of Liverpool attended the Auckland Pacing Club's races at KUerrfie yesterday. To-day they will attend the finals of the New Zealand University tennis tournament at Remuera. This evening they mil be present at tin- performance of "The Mummy and the Humming Bird" at His Majesty's Theatre. The Governor will perform the ceremony of laying the foundation-stone of the new chancel of St. Paul's Church on Sunday pext.
