A cablegram a. few days ago stated thai a New Zealander named McDonald had been drowned owing to the wrecK of the barque Andromeda in a gale at Falmouth. It is feared that the dec eared is Allen McDonald, aged 19 years, a son of Captain McDonald, of Port Chalmers. He left the schooner Htiia, at Auckland, in order to join the Andromeda before she left for Falmouth.
