KINDERGARTEN PICNIC.

About 65 pupils of the Campbell Kindergarten school, Freeman's Bay, were entertained by Mrs- David Nathan at a picnic on her property at Manurewa yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Nathan takes a great interest in the children and the school, and was one of the first members of the committee formed to supervise the free institution established by Sir John Campbell. The children travelled bv train to Manurewa and then by motor to the estate, where an enjoyable afternoon was spent.
