OTAGO HIGH SCHOOL.

THE OLD BOYS' SOCIETY. A meeting of old boys of the Otago Boys' High School Old Boys' Society was he'd at the Star Hotel last night to form an Auckland branch of the society. There was a large attendance, and tho proceedings were enthusiastic. Mr. A. L. Denniston explained the- objects of tho meeting and Dr. P. A. Lindsay was voted to the chair. After matting a brief speech, Dr. Lindsay moved that a. branch Wo formed in Auckland. This as seconded by Mr. P. Spencer and carried amidst cheers. Officers were elected as follows —President, Mr. J. J. Kingston ; vice-president, Dr. P. A. Lindsay: committee. Messrs. A. V. Fraer, P. Mitchell, T. Snow, A. L. Denniston, W. Eraser, H. C. Tewsley Alex. Burt, 0. E. Bowling, Dr. Fairclough, and Dr. K. Mackenzie; secretaryand treasurer, Mr. W. Eraser: assistant secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. G. Grant.
