The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaka lias gone to Dakar, on the West Coast of Africa, her third lower hold, tween decks being on tire. Arrangements have been made to flood the holds. The Rimntaka, 7962 tons, is owned bv the New Zealand Shipping Com pan v— which has recently lost the Kaipara and the Tokoma.ru—and is well-known in the New Zealand trade. She sailed from Sydney on January S 3 loaded with Australian produce, and subsequently called at Albany and Durban. Dakar is a large, port on the coast of Seiieganibia, French West Africa.
