DROWNED WHILE BATHING.
ACCIDENT NEAR PORIRUA.
[BY TELEC?RAFH.—press ASSOCIATION Wellington, Thursday. The police have received information that Jas. McGregor, an attendant at the Porirua Mental Hospital, was drowned at Titahi Bay this afternoon while bathing. Deceased was unable to swim, and entered shallow water some distance away from his companions, who did not notice that, he had got beyond his depth. McGregor had been employed as ' an attendant at Porirua. for a considerable period. The body was recovered.
