Tennent 33. i Eighteen students obtained first-class passes, seven second-class passes, and four third-class passes, and fare failed. E. Smale obtained the Government scholarship, having passed his final section in ■ ventilation and surveying. The council's prize for dry assaying and mathematics was won by L. Prendergast, and the council's prize for the student who has shown the greatest effort was won by E. D. White. A special prize, offered by Mr. Cassells Brown for electricity and mathei maties, was won by T. Hassett.
