MISSION STATION RAIDED. !

SHORT-LIVED REBELLION.

London, January 31

An official account of the rebellion j in Nyassaland states that three whites were killed at Magomero. Several women and children were I carried off, but they were subse- j quently released. The store at the I Blanryrc mission station was raided, : and the watchman was killed, arms and ammunition being seized. Several of the ringleaders were arrested, and three have been executed. The leader is not yet captured, but the situation is now well in hand.
