CHARGE OF ASSAULT.

PRISONER KILLED IX ERROR

Amsterdam, January 30

A British prisoner named John Bramble has been remanded at Spandau on a charge of assaulting a German sergeant, who struck him with a whip. It is stated that Bramble, after striking the sergeant, ran among the other prisoners, whereupon a member of the Landwehr fired at him. The shot missed Bramble, but killed another prisoner.
