Baron Von Bissing. the German Military Governor of Brussels, has announced that a heavy tax will be imposed on Belgians now absent from the country who do not return to Belgium before March 1, when their property will be sold.

The Belgian Government has notified the absentees that the laws provide for the recovery of properties from the new possessors.
