The weather was sufficiently fine this morning to permit th« tournament be ins pro ceeded with. In section A Waddell lie Aroha) defeated Pilkington (Whitiora) by -6 points to 16 and won the section. Hamilton, of Paeroa, won section C, and Boil (Hamilton) v.-on section B. In the somi-nii.il Waddell drew the 'jye. The match between Bell and Hamilton was a finely contested one. The latter dashed off with the lead, and on the ninth head was 10 to Boll's - 1 ". but Bell's men pulled themselves together nr.d, settling down to sne combined play, won by 20 points to 16. Bell met Waddell in '.In !*»nal. The teams and scores were: — 'IV Arona—P. Heathcote, E Hawkins, J. B. Morrison, Waddell—'2s, v. J. J. William?, V. J. Wilson, P. H. Coombes, N. Bell. 10. The Te Aroha team thus won the South Auckland Association's banner.
