EARTHQUAKE IN THE SOUTH.
SHARP SHOCK AT WELLINGTON
[lIT TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION - -] Wellington - Sunday. A SHAJfcr shock of earthquake, which occurred at 9.56 p.m. on Saturday, caused some alarm in one or two theatres, though fortunately, no panic occurred. The shock was preceded by a prolonged rumble. No damage is reported.
