FOOD FOR GERMANY.
STATE AS IMPORTER.
ALLIED SEIZURE JUSTIFIED.
HEteceived January 29. 1125 a.m.)
London, January 28.
The opinion is generally held in New York that the German Government, having confiscated all wheat supplies, may now be regarded as sole importers of wheat, justifying the .allies seizing every foodship under whatever flag.
The German Government's action is regarded in official circles in Washington as a move to prevent the owners of the Wilhelmina, which is sailing from New York to Hamburg with a cargo of corn, from deserting the supplies destined for Germany.
