Nl.t.sox. Thursday. '4 motor i a containing Mr. and Mrs. J,. J, Frank ami daughter. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. look.', and Mrs. R. P. Parker, while proceed inc to Murrhison yesterday, went over a hank in the Bullcr Gorge a,nd foil about 120 ft into the Buller River.
The tar was passing a lorry at. the time, and the edge of the road gave way. The occupants had a miraculous escape. The car strut k a tire in its descent, causing it to tilt forward and throw out its pasrisers. The iar then rolled to the hot torn of the gorcc. falling into 20ft of water.
Mrs. ('Hike sustained a broken collarbone, broken jaw. and a severe cut on one hand. The other members of the v...,iy escape*] without serious injury.
