AGREEMENT ARRANGED.

[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN" CORRESPONDENT.] Thames , Thursday. An agreement has been arrived at in regard to the Thames water supply, under which the Borough Coun< il will be entitled to a continuous supply of two .•Juice heads of water for household purposes and ordinary town requirements, including water for garden purposes, at an annual charge of £500. For a further annual charge of £500 the council will be supplied with four sluice-heads of continuous water for motive power in connection with the municipal electrical power works, and an additional six sluiceheads between the hours of one hone before sunset and five hours alter sunset. This will give the borough an ample supply, and the county will secure an assured income of £1100 per year.
