The Sydney representative of the Papuan Government, commenting on the remark of Commander Holmes, who was in command of the Australian forces in NewGuinea, that the country is not fit for white men in the wet season, says that the climate is preferable to that of Sydney. Papua is a first-class country, with a great future.
