The action taken against the Ham-burg-American liner Scandia, nowsheltering in the Dutch East Indies, in which a claim was made for the delivery of goods, has been decided by the Java Court, ■ which has ordered the delivery of the cargo without the payment of a general average, or the cost of discharging. It is' believed that the judgment will have an important bearing on shipments on , several German vessels which were bound for Australia, and Which are now sheltering in the Dutch East Indies.
