CHAMPIONSHIPS AWARDED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wangantji, Wednesday. The Wanganni Agricultural Association's show opened to-day. A strong westerly gale made conditions rather unpleasant. The show, taken all round, is well up to previous standards. Championships were awarded as follows:—Lincoln ram and ewe: Mrs. J. D. Ormond. Border Leicester ram: G. V. Poarce. English Leicester rain: R. Bremner. Holsteina: Bull, W. J. Lovelock; cow, John Donald. Hereford bull and cow: EShort. Ayrahires: Bull, J as. McFarlane, reserve John Cameron; cow, W. H. Cainos. Polled Angus: Bull, Moore Brothers; cow, Fred Moore. Jerseys: Bull, R. J. Linn; cow, Peterson. Draught marc: J. Ormond.
